​Why I write

I've loved reading and writing fiction for as long as I remember and can get rather passionate about the power of words. The process of writing draws on many years of personal ups and downs, and intensive observation and study of the vagaries of our emotions, motivations, and behaviour.

Exploration of the human psyche's shadow side and imagining the potential fallout for both the individual and his/her relationships is a particular interest. However, I also find infinite excitement in moving the boundaries and experimenting with different genres -- from literary to sci-fi -- and various styles of writing.


Where am I?

I moved to Melbourne, Australia from UK with my partner and until December 2019, we shared our home with our beautiful, cheese-seeking Boxer dog. In our hearts forever, dearest Mira. 

We were so happy to be able to rehome Buddha - one of the lovely things that happened in 2020, until she too earned her angel wings in 2022. And now we have the pleasure of our newest adoptee, Albi. Full of energy and brings a smile every day.
